Caritas Inpatient Unit

The Caritas Inpatient Unit is a 27-bed facility that provides 24 hour care for clients requiring assessment and treatment in an inpatient setting to assist in their recovery from mental health-related conditions.

Care is provided via a multidisciplinary team which includes nursing, medical, social work, occupational therapists and other allied health staff. Consumers may access a comprehensive and diverse therapuetic program in addition to receiving individualised care and treatment.

Clients of the Caritas Inpatient Unit may be referred upon discharge, where suitable, for follow up by the community mental health team, rehabilitation team and /or non-government organisations and other appropriate support services.
