Neurology

The Neurology Department provides a complete clinical and diagnostic service. There is close liaison with the Neurosurgery Department and conjoint weekly meetings are held to discuss the management and investigation of complex cases. A same-day service is provided for urgent referrals.

The department participates in basic neuroscience and is involved in clinical trials for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Diseases and stroke.

All members of the Department are members of the Australian Association of Neurologists, Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and belong to subspecialist societies according to interests.
