Food services
An on site kitchen provides cooked, fresh meals. The Nutrition Services Department has a close working relationship with the Food Services Department and Food Services Dietitian to ensure our patients’ dietary needs are catered for. Quality improvement projects and consumer satisfaction surveys are regularly conducted.

Teaching and training
The Nutrition Services Department is involved in student placements for Nutrition and Dietetic students from various universities around NSW. Some of our staff are also involved in providing university lectures to various dietetic and nursing courses and sometimes to our own medical staff.

Current research projects
We are currently undertaking various research projects in different Clinical Areas. This will be ongoing and it is hoped the results will help us to improve our practice in the future.
