Cardiac CT Courses

St Vincent’s Cardiac CT has been conducting Cardiac CT courses directed to cardiologists, radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians since 2009, using the Toshiba AquilionONE 320 slice scanner.  The Cardiac CT courses are directed to physicians who wish to achieve and maintain Level A (Australian) accreditation.

Cardiac CT Course (Level A)
The course has been specifically designed to satisfy the Australian Level A accreditation and includes the required number of coronary, non-coronary and cardiac cases, exceeding SCCT level II requirements.  It has also been designed to achieve the maximum allowable live cases.

The course covers a wide variety of clinical material, ranging from outpatient assessment for the early detection of coronary disease to the management of complicated hospital inpatients.  The course is clinically relevant and comparisons are made with other imaging modalities, including selective coronary angiography, MRI, nuclear imaging and stress echocardiography, and includes information on CT perfusion imaging.

RANZCR has allocated 129 CME points for the full course.
