| Course Overview |
This program aims to assist the experienced perioperative nurse in the development of knowledge and skills related to advanced cardiothoracic surgery. It will provide insight and information for the Perioperative Nurse to further develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in the circulating and instrument role for complex cardiothoracic surgery. It will follow the patient journey from listing on the heart/lung transplant wait list through LVAD/RVAD, ECMO and onto transplantation. The day is being sponsored by Edwards/Vascutek. |
