St Vincent's Hospital - progress

Dear Friend,

Thank you for helping us achieve so much in the last 12 months, specifically the delivery of the highest possible levels of care. We thought you'd like to read about some of the great work you've made possible. Our current appeal focus is a successful online program developed to help prevent teenage anxiety and depression. We'd be extremely grateful if you can help us to continue and expand this vital program. Thank you again.

Please help St Vincent's
prevent teenage depression

We urgently need funding now to extend our successful online mental health program to ensure improved use as a preventive measure. While 4,500 patients Australia-wide are currently benefiting and over 1,700 clinicians are using the program, one in five adolescents are still affected by mental health problems. Recent trials show we can halve the risk of developing an anxiety disorder via preventive education. Money raised now will deliver broader skills to students in Years 8, 9 and 10 that will help them cope with life in general through the difficult years of adolescence and beyond. more …
